Alisa Meyuhas Ginio is a Professor Emeritus at the Department of History, Tel Aviv University, Israel. Her books and articles regard the Medieval Christian Polemics against the Jews in the Iberian Peninsula; the Iberian Conversos; and the Jewish-Spanish speaking Sephardim, descendants of the Jews expelled from Sepharad in 1492, who later on established the Mediterranean Sephardic Diaspora and upheld the Ladino Culture.
 Prof. Meyuhas Ginio is a member of the Editing Committee of the Mediterranean Historical Review, Tel Aviv University and of the Advisory Board of the Medieval History Journal, New Delhi & London. Prof. Meyuhas Ginio is a counselor of the National Authority for Ladino Culture in Israel.
